The mission of Logos Gospel Mission International is to share the love of Jesus Christ — to connect and cultivate strong, meaningful relationships that transform individuals, families, communities, and nations.

What We Are Called To Do

Proclaim the Gospel: propagate the Christian faith and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed through the Holy Scriptures by all means of communication, whether visual, verbal, or written.

Train and deploy leaders to train, ordain, send, and receive missionaries, evangelists, pastors, and leaders locally as well as internationally. We invest in people so that the Kingdom of God grows without borders.

Reach the Next Generation To reach out to the youth and to prepare the next generation to become a people of prayer and praise. The future of the Church depends on the young people we raise today.

Serve the Vulnerable To meet the needs of the poor by providing medication, education, food, shelter, water, and other basic amenities. The Gospel is not only preached — it is demonstrated through compassionate action.

Build Global Community To impact both the local and international community through family unity, focusing on spiritual guidance, missions, and outreach that crosses every cultural and national boundary.

Our Vision

The vision of Logos Gospel Mission International is to lead individuals to Christ and to influence communities — locally and globally. 

To tell people about the love of Jesus Christ so that lost souls may be found and set free by the power and the blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 

To teach and motivate according to Scripture, with a heart for missions — both sending and supporting — to impact the local and international community on socio-economic, spiritual, and educational levels. 

To demonstrate the love of God to all — in every nation, every culture, every community — until the glory of the Lord covers the earth as the waters cover the sea.

Where We Are Going

LGMI is not a static institution. We are a movement — a people on the move with the heart of God for the nations. Our vision extends beyond the walls of our building, beyond the borders of South Africa, and into every corner of the earth where the name of Jesus has not yet been proclaimed with power. We see a church that trains, sends, and sustains missionaries.

We see communities transformed by the Gospel. We see young people raised up as the next generation of apostolic leaders. We see a world that knows the love of Jesus Christ — not just as a concept

WHAT WE BELIEVE

At Logos Gospel Mission International, our beliefs are firmly rooted in the Holy Scriptures, the infallible, inspired Word of God. We are a Pentecostal, Spirit-filled, apostolic ministry that holds to the foundational truths of Biblical Christianity.

Our Core Beliefs

THE BIBLE, We believe the Holy Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible Word of God — the supreme authority for all matters of faith, life, and conduct.

THE TRINITY: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

JESUS CHRIST, we believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and glorious return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in Him alone.

SALVATION: We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works, and that all who repent of their sins and confess Jesus as Lord will be saved and receive eternal life.

THE HOLY SPIRIT. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and in the ongoing work of the Spirit through spiritual gifts for the building up of the Body of Christ

THE CHURCH: We believe in the universal Church — the Body of Christ — and in the local church as the expression of God’s family on earth, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and global missions.

THE GREAT COMMISSION, We believe that every believer is called to participate in fulfilling the Great Commission — making disciples of all nations, baptising them, and teaching them to obey the commands of Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
